Bob McCaskill

       After accepting Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior in March of 1972, Bob followed God’s calling for the Ministry. He graduated from Piedmont Bible College in 1975 with a degree in Religious Ed. (cum laude), and a Masters in Religious Ed. at Covington Theological Seminary (1978). He has also done graduate work in counseling at UNC-G, Liberty Univ. and Trinity Seminary.  

 

In 1979, he and his wife left for Italy as Missionaries; evangelizing, planting churches, and preaching for about 10 years. He was at Pinedale Christian Church as The Senior Adult Minister and Pastoral Care Minister from 1999 to 2017.  Then God directed him to Clemmons, NC where he undertook a small church of 12 people and built a congregation of almost of a hundred in 4 years.  In 2021 he and Jane left the area and moved to Brunswick County to be closer to his daughters.

 

He has been a Conference and Guest Speaker in Italy (2006) (2013) and Kenya (2005), has done Pastoral Training in Kenya (Seminar Teacher) and has been an Advisory Pastor to missionaries. Bob has also done the planning and development of Celebrate Recovery in Winston Salem, NC and the jail and prison Ministry of “Celebrate Recovery on the Inside”, Celebrate Recovery in Jamaica (2010).  He has also started and guided Grief Share for the past 15 years, and just of recent planted another Grief Share program at Elah Baptist of Leland, NC.

 

His wife of 47 years, Jane is the Author of “God Makes No Mistakes”, a biography of her and Bob’s life and adventures in Italy.  They met in Piedmont Bible College and were married in June of 1975. They have three grown daughters, Amanda, Brooke and her husband Monty, and Kelly and her husband Hardrein  and two grandsons Lex (10) and Sulley (7).

 

Pastor Bob has a compassion and experience for those who are hurting from grief, trials and tragedies, drug and alcohol abuse, marital problems, and much more.  “The church is the hospital for hurting people.  We are all broken and in need of help from God.”
